The Lies of Locke Lamoraby Scott Lynch was an interesting reading experience. I adored the characters and world, but it didn’t live up to the heaps of hype that were thrust upon it. Despite this it was still an overall enjoyable book.
When It’s Right by Aria Grace isn’t a great book, I’d be reluctant to call it good. But I somehow don’t hate it. It was underdeveloped without being grating and while that isn’t really a compliment I had a decently okay time reading it.
I’ve FINALLY read another book by Jandy Nelson and it was good. The Sky Is Everywhere was everything I wanted it to be and more. Excellent prose, relatable characters and the sense of what it feels like to be a teenager.
The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet by Becky Chambers absolutely smashed into my heart. I wasn’t completely on board with it for awhile there, but I ended up really loving it by the time I finished it.
