Hey guys, I just wanted to do a quick update because I won’t be able to post anything on here for the next week or so. I’m currently in the middle of my final exams, so blogging will be taking a bit of a backseat. Despite that November is going to be a pretty hectic reading month so I thought I would share my plans.

Tess of the D’Urbervilles was very unpleasant reading experience. I Believe In A Thing Called Love wasn’t it for me. I could barely make it a hundred pages before giving up on the book. Not only did the book read very juvenile, but I found the romance uncompelling, and this book had a dash too much girl-on-girl hate to be particularly fun.

I adored Little & Lion. I basically inhaled it in an evening and couldn’t stop reading. It has so many of the things I love seeing in books: dramatic love triangles (trapeziums), emotionally charged sibling relationships, and strong characters at the center of it all.
